Seeing Double At The Halo Bar

Hey readers.. long night has finally come to an end, well almost.. Gotta finish up this entry and take a shower.

Tmrw is pay day, gonna go to some ulu place collect my cold hard cash :D

Today was Troy's birthday so we all went to Ngee Ann's very own bar to celebrate (bad idea)
Troy got hammered early and went to puke in the toilet, remained there for the rest of the night. HAHA! and since Jia Lang made him drunk, he had to 'take care' of Troy in the toilet too.

Next was May and Nick's turn to get pissed. May was the tired/sad/wobbly drunk, while Nick's was the angry hardcore drunk :/

Basically what it all meant was that we were gonna have a hard time getting them home. In the end, managed to settle the cab stuff and luckily a few guys made some noble and honourable sacrifices! xD

But for some reason everyone seemed to 'lag' and not bring the drunkfucks down to get a cab. Nobody also really took care of May and Nick. Troy was lying all over the toilet floor but Jia Liang didn't wanna bring him out to the table to sit even though I insisted a few times. In the end I just couldn't take it anymore and carried him out myself. I asked some of the guys to take care of May/Nick but they would usually walk away after awhile. Ask them to carry May, they halfway also walk away.

Wtf man.. :/

Anyway this leads me to talk about a very important issue. RESPONSIBILITY!

I feel that people who drink should be responsible and know their limits, cause the people around them have a really hard time trying to 'settle' the problem by going out of their way to help them.

Also, the people who are not drunk should be more proactive in helping those drunkfucks. Instead of being asked multiple times to help.

We are only what? 15 to 20 maybe? We're still really young, yet we all don't wanna acknowledge that fact. We like to tell ourselves, we're old enough to do this and that, we know this and that. Especially Nick. FUCKER!

There is still so much in the world that we have yet to see and experience. A whole future awaits us, why do we have to make a decision now?

Just to end the post.. Some excerpts from the song "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" by Baz Luhrmann.

"Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You're not as fat as you imagine."

"Don't be reckless with other people's hearts, don't put up with people who are reckless with yours."

and my personal favourite..

"Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good."

Keep on rocking in the free world guys! :D
